India-based pharma packaging company Schott Kaisha is planning to highlight its range of primary packaging solutions at CPhI India 2017 exhibition.
At the event, which is scheduled to be held at Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) from 28-30 November, Schott Kaisha plans to officially launch its new Opto-Electronic Inspection System designed for vials.
The Opto-Electronic Inspection System, which was recently installed by the firm at its manufacturing lines in Jambusar, Gujarat, is designed to allow a full cosmetic inspection of the entire vial.
Additionally, the system offer customization options over and above the standard inspection protocol to the customers.
Schott Kaisha managing director Kairus Dadachanji said: “CPhI is a significant platform for our industry, as it allows interaction between the clients and various players within the supply chain.
“It enables a healthy exchange of knowledge and best practices, to address the dynamic changes and requirements of our pharmaceutical clients.”
The firm also plans to showcase its enhanced portfolio of ready-to-use (RTU) packaging which includes nested cartridges.
Schott said that the new system will provide a faster, more flexible, and cost-effective way for pharma manufacturers to fill and assemble cartridges.
Other Schott’s solutions to be showcased at the event include Schott’s iQ platform, which provides a versatile portfolio and covers syriQ prefillable syringes and adaptiQ ready-to-use vials.
Schott Kaisha is a joint venture formed by Germany-based pharmaceutical packaging firm Schott and Kaisha Manufactures, a manufacturer of pharmaceutical containers made of neutral glass.
