Adhesives&Sealants Announced Its Intention to Acquire New Hampshire-Based Adhesives

Indiana-based Royal Adhesives & Sealants, an Arsenal Capital Partners portfolio unit, has announced its intention to acquire New Hampshire-based Extreme Adhesives, a methyl methacrylate and cyanocrylate supplier.

The move enables clients of both the firms to access an extended range of proprietary and customized solutions.

Arsenal Capital said Extreme's history of innovative service and product performances in the assembly, maintenance and architectural markets combined with Royal will sell overseas as a result of the acquisition.

Royal chief executive officer Ted Clark said they were looking to work with Extreme's employees and clients.

"As a leading producer of high-performance adhesives, sealants and coatings, we look forward to working with the Extreme team to advance our combined product portfolio and expand our presence in the assembly, maintenance and repair markets," added Clark.

Extreme, whose partners will eventually become consultants to Royal, has created a range of assembly adhesives for the past 25 years including methyl methacrylate and epoxy structural adhesives; and anaerobic and cyanoacralate adhesives.
