TMTA Works to Inspire Low-Income Urban Children

The Transportation Maintenance and Technology Association (TMTA) recently teed off for City Kidz, a Christian organization that works to inspire low-income urban children.

Steve Granville, Fred Pedler, Bob Dawson and Paul Crossman, from TMTA, presented a $1,700 cheque to City Kidz, following the fundraiser.

"City Kidz has great things on the go and could always use additional funding since only 2% of their budget comes from the government," said Pedler, TMTA treasurer. "We were honoured to present a cheque for $1,700 for the money raised from the Hamilton TMTA Golf Day for City Kidz held June 21st at Southbrook Golf & Country Club."

The TMTA is currently organizing a toy drive for City Kidz. Donations to the toy drive can be dropped off at Putney's Automotive, 574 Wentworth St. North in Hamilton.
