Statistics of Automotive Business Association of Kazakhstan showed that the first quarter of Kazakhstan's car sales increased by 89% to 25,383 dollars. Domestic car sales grew 114% to 5926.
During the reporting period, the sales champion which was no doubt that was Russian Lada car whose sales was 10,057, an increase of 80%, to ensure the market share of 36.5% in the Volga automobile plant. Daewoo car’s sales ranked the second to 2533, an increase of 205.9%. Followed by Kia car, whose sales was 2298, an increase of 158.2%. Sales which ranked the fourth was HYUNDAI to 1937 cars, an increase of 27.1%. Sales which ranked the fifth was Chevrolet to 1705, an increase of 115%.
