Case goods manufacturer Oak Design Corp. is moving to a new space here for the April 20-25 High Point Market.
The company, which previously showed in the Suites at Market Square, will occupy 912 square feet in space 1-599 of Plaza Suites.
Founded in 1986, the family-owned company produces master and youth bedroom as well as occasional and entertainment furniture in its Chino, Calif., plant. In addition to new bedrooms, the company is showing new TV consoles ranging from 62 inches to 82 inches in length in its Pacific Urban collection this market.
"Our new Plaza Suites showroom is centrally located for the types of retailers we're trying to reach," Ismael Castellanos, owner and president, said in a statement. "This building is an active destination for retailers looking for medium to upper medium priced case goods and occasional furniture."
The company offers various finish options throughout its line, including light, medium and dark tone oak finishes and pecan, hazelnut, antique cherry, mocha, black and white on its alder items.
Castellanos added that the made in America story is generating interest.
"In the past year, we've opened a tremendous amount of new dealers," he said. "They like the fact that our product is made in California by American hands."
