Accoridng to data, Korea’s rebar imports totaled 44,845 tons in June, soaring by 50.4% year on year and jumping by 31.1% from a month ago.
In the first half of this year, the country’s rebar imports amounted to 249,719 tons, up by 5.1% year on year.
Among them, 146,000 tons were from China, accounting for 58.6% of total and 103,000 tons were from Japan, acquiring 41.2% of total.
