US carmaker General Motors’ Indian subsidiary is planning to launch the Chevrolet Enjoy multi purpose vehicle (MPV) in India in the first quarter of 2013.
General Motors India is expecting high opening demand for the new MPV saying that there is a good market for the utility vehicles in the country.
The new MPV will be powered by a 1.4L, 1,399cc, petrol engine, which will be mated to a 5 speed manual transmission system and generate an output of 90bhp and 127Nm torque.
According to CarTrade, the carmaker is also planning to launch the new model with a 1.3L Multijet diesel engine.
Features of the new car include anti-lock braking System (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) system, dual front airbags engine immobiliser and central locking.
