Nexion Health has selected the clinical outcomes management system (COMS) interactive product suite, Daylight IQ, as a key component of the organization's disease management program.
Beginning with an initial implementation of 10 facilities, the company will deploy Daylight IQ at their 39 skilled nursing facilities located in Colorado, Louisiana and Texas.
Daylight IQ is a software as a service product featuring integrated, disease-based clinical protocols for identifying changes in condition at the point of care, highlighting abnormal findings and providing the Nexion nursing staff with appropriate interventions and/or physician communication.
Nexion Health Chief Executive Officer Fran Kirley said, "To accomplish that goal, we are implementing a progressive disease management program, Daylight IQ, which we believe will enhance care, improve the quality of life enjoyed by our residents and reduce avoidable re-hospitalization."
The Daylight IQ product suite, including an automated disease care guide library, a dynamic nursing assessment and compare module, is designed to track changes in condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions.
