In February this year, South Korea's new car registrations fell 14.5 percent month on month to 10,556 units. However, compared to February 2012 new car registrations in the country increased 14.8 percent in the month in question, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).
In the first two months of 2013 South Korean new car registrations rose by 22.9 percent to 22,901 units compared to the same period of 2012.
