Hawaii's original chocolate-covered macadamia candy manufacturer unveiled its new holiday tin items and stand-up bags of macadamias at the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT), Winter Fancy Food Show being held January 20-22, 2013 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

A few of this year's main items will include a new Christmas Tree Tin (available for Christmas 2013) and heart-shaped "Love" Tin (available for Valentine's Day 2014). The new packaged products will be accompanied by unique, eye-catching floor displays that fit neatly in a candy aisle or elsewhere within a retail store.

Hawaiian Host is also introducing its new 4.5-oz stand-up bags that feature four Hawaiian Island favorite flavors of macadamia nuts and 11-oz sized stand-up bags of macadamia nuts and chocolate-covered macadamias.

Flavors of the 4.5-oz stand up bags include: Dry Roasted with Sea Salt Macadamias, Hawaiian Honey Glazed Macadamias, Maui Onion and Garlic Macadamias and Kona Coffee Glazed Macadamias. The 11-oz sized stand-up bags include the four different flavored macadamia nuts from the 4.5-oz size, but also Dark Chocolate Covered Macadamias, Milk Chocolate Covered Macadamias, and Honey Glazed and Covered with Milk Chocolate Macadamias.

Also being featured at the show will be Hawaiian Host's original Scenic milk and dark chocolate covered macadamias in 4.5-oz stand-up boxes and 5-oz Maui Caramacs. The boxes are perfect for the chocolate lover who loves to self-indulge as each piece is individually wrapped for convenience and to preserve freshness.

"We enjoy participating in this particular show because we get widespread exposure for our products," says Brian Cox, vice president of sales for North America. "We're always hoping to grow into more regions and share our gift of Aloha."

The company declined to disclose additional packaging details for proprietary reasons.
