Flavorseal has expanded its portfolio with the combination of new product development and a full line of knitted netting manufactured at its plant forIntegrated with the company's elastic and plastic extruded netting,the netting line provides solutions for every stage of the manufacturing process that support the selection of correct nets for customers.
Flavorseal president Chris Carroll said the product line encompasses the complete process,from the plant to the grocery store.
"The added benefit of our knitting facility gives us both production flexibility and quality control,so we are able to improve time for new product development and react quickly to customer needs,"Carroll added.
The move is part of the company's plans to find new ways to improve the use of netting for meat processing industry.
Previously,the company has introduced its seasoning transfer netting,which combines its tight weave netting with seasoning transfer technology.
Flavorseal is also planning to launch additional products,which are currently under development,during 2014.
Flavorseal specializes in food packaging,equipment and patented seasoning transfer products for the food processing and foodservice markets.
