Commercial vehicle manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus (MFTBC), an integral part of the Daimler Trucks, has launched a new Canter light-duty truck in Turkey.
The new Canter light-duty truck is powered by a newly developed '4P10' diesel engine, which is mated to a dual-clutch transmission, DUONIC.
MFTBC claims that the new light-duty truck will offer clean emissions and low fuel consumption.
The new Canter truck features the brake override system as standard.
According to the company, the eighth generation Canter was first launched in Japan ahead of its world market debut.
As part of MFTBC's FUSO 2015 initiative, the company is planning to double its international sales volume to over 200,000 units per year.
