UK-based Tamar Packaging Solutions has purchased Edale 7-color FL5-510 carton press in a bid to improve its operational efficiency.
The carton press with combination drying is being installed at Tamar's food contact packaging facility, helping to provide more carton board products for the FMCG market.

Edale FL5 presses are packaging printing machines, which are designed to manufacture cartons, scratch cards and flexible packaging solutions.
With a substrate range of 12μ to 600μ for multiple applications, the FL5 includes autonomous inking, impression and print registration (AiiR) feature that uses precision camera technology to enhance registration accuracy.
The machine’s automated print pressure control helps to decrease wastage and set-up times. Its automating print and registration processes enable operator to reduce errors for producing quality final product.
