National Interstate Insurance Company is planning to offer a new fuel distribution insurance program, in an effort to strengthen its long-standing captive fuel distribution business.
Effective from 01 January 2013, the new program will involve residential propane and fuel dealers with a commitment to safety and strong risk management practises.
Coverage options include auto liability, general liability, auto physical damage, workers' compensation, as well as property and excess umbrella, with crime and inland marine coverages upon request.
National Interstate vice president Jim Parks said the traditional program provides the company with an opportunity to expand its existing captive business in fuel distribution market.
"We are also looking forward to partnering with retail fuel distribution producers in delivering a best-in-class insurance and risk management program," Parks added.
Applications for the program are currently accepted by the company for 01 January 2013 and beyond inception dates.
