Board and paper packaging solutions provider Edelmann has bagged the Pharmapack Award for its phial packaging for homoeopathic medicinal products from Weleda.
Edelmann received award for its folding carton concept. The award is the third one that the company received for the concept.
The concept has two-part, flat packaging that can be processed and filled automatically and serves as an economical and optimized production technique for the manufacturer.
The phial packaging, which had already won the European ProCarton/ECMA Award 2012, was also the winner of the German Packaging Prize 2012 in autumn.
