Samsung Apologized to Chinese Consumers for Smartphone Glitches

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, he world’s biggest smartphone maker, has apologized to Chinese consumers for smartphone glitches. The apology came after CCTV reported those types of mobile phones always suddenly crash and have high maintenance costs.

Samsung Electronics said in his Chinese website "We offer our sincere apologies to Chinese consumers for inconvenience caused by our management problems."

Samsung has been the latset multinational company targeted by CCTV. According to one CCTV's programme on Monday evening, design defect cause the software on Samsung Note and S series smartphones to seize up frequently.

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd said on Wednesday the warranty period for seven types of its mobile phones produced before November 30, 2012, will be extended for another year and the company apologized to Chinese consumers.

A day earlier, CCTV kept up criticism on the Starbuck's higher price in China.

This March, CCTV criticised Apple Inc , the world’s second-biggest smartphone maker, for using different warranty and customer service polices in China than in other countries.
