Apparel brands from Marches Region of Italy are seeking enhanced cooperation with Dalian Piemont Garment Park.
A delegation comprising of four representatives from the Marches Region paid a visit to the clothing R&D centre of Dalian Piemont Garment Park earlier this week, chinadaily.com reported.
The R&D centre, spread over an area of 8,000 sq m with around 6,400 sq m of constructed area, will undertake independent research and development of Piemont apparels.
The centre will contribute in adding value to products and thereby act as a catalyst in further development of fashion industry in Dalian.
The visiting officials also visited the exhibition centre as well as the Marches regional office in Dalian, both of which became functional in September last year.
The construction of the first phase of the garment park got completed in November last year, and finishing work is expected to continue during the remaining months of the first half of 2013.
