Casey Container Plans to Set up a New Facility in The First Quarter of 2013

Biodegradable PET, HDPE manufacturer in the US, Casey Container plans to use its anticipated equity funding to open a new facility in the first quarter of 2013.

The company will also launch marketing of its EcoPure additive products in order to create biodegradable plastics solutions in various industries.

Casey is a licensee of the EcoPure additive, which has been proven to fully biodegrade plastics in as little as three years.

The additive will be added to plastic resin during the manufacturing process and makes the plastic fully biodegradable in a landfill environment.

Casey Container CEO and president Martin Nason said the company's ability to create a PET and HDPE plastic that is biodegradable sets it apart.

"The bottling industry spends billions on plastic containers each year. We expect to capture a profitable segment of this market by providing products that environmentally conscious companies are seeking," Nason said.
