US DOC Review of The Antidumping Order on Welded Carbon Steel Pipe

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Thursday that it has amended the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping order on welded carbon steel pipe and tube (standard pipe) from Turkey, covering the period from May 1, 2010 through April 30, 2011.

The amended results apply to the Borusan group of companies - Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., Borusan Birlesik Boru Fabrikalari San ve Tic., Borusan Istikbal Ticaret T.A.S., Boruson Holding A.S., Boruson Gemlik Boru Tesisleri A.S., Borusan Ihracat Ithalat ve Dagitim A.S., and Borusan Ithicat ve Dagitim A.S.

The DOC had originally calculated a weighted-average dumping margin of 6.05 percent for the Borusan group. However, as the result of the correction of a programming error in the DOC's margin calculation, the DOC has amended the final dumping margin for the Borusan group to 3.55 percent.

Accordingly, the dumping duty deposit rate for the Borusan group of companies is 3.55 percent.

Imports of these products are currently classifiable under the following Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings: 7306.30.10.00, 7306.30.50.25, 7306.30.50.32, 7306.30.50.40, 7306.30.50.55, 7306.30.50.85 and 7306.30.50.90.
