German glass and plastic packaging products manufacturer Gerresheimer is all set to exhibit its entire portfolio of products for the pharma and healthcare industries on 13-14 February 2013 at Pharmapack, Paris.
The company's portfolio includes new MultiShell vials, which combine plastic and glass properties. The vials feature a triple-layer structure comprising a layer of polyamide sandwiched between two break-resistant Cyclic Olefin Polymer (COP) layers.
Gerresheimer's metal-free COP ClearJect is suitable as a primary packaging for sensitive medications for oncology, ophthalmology and other fields of medicine.
The company will also exhibit its pre-fillable RTF syringes that are made of tubular glass and are available as bulk products as well as in ready-to-fill format. They can be washed, siliconized, pre-assembled and sterilized.
Duma brand OneLiner is a twist-off closure developed by the company for the US market specifically, with the mandatory foil seal.
Gerresheimer specializes in primary packaging for pharmaceuticals made of materials which are ideal for the product's field of application.
