The first official images of the BMW 4 Series Convertible have surfaced after pages from a leaked brochure appeared online.
The images – published by enthusiast website BMW Blog – reveal the front and rear of a white 4 Series Convertible fitted with an optional bicycle rack, four unique alloy wheel patterns, and a black and tan interior trim combination.
There are few surprises in the BMW 4 Series Convertible’s styling, with the folding hardtop model having been largely revealed in earlier spy shots, and sharing much with the already available 4 Series Coupe.
The BMW 4 Series is scheduled to make its international debut at next month’s Los Angeles auto show before launching overseas early next year and arriving in Australia in mid 2014.
Like the outgoing 3 Series Convertible, the new 4 Series will be offered with the same powertrains as the Coupe, which in Australia comprises the 135kW/380Nm 420d, the 180kW/350Nm 428i and the 225kW/400Nm 435i.
The Convertible is again expected to command a $10,000-$15,000 premium over the Coupe, approximately translating to prices of $85,000 for the 420d, $99,000 for the 428i and $120,000 for the 435i.
The BMW 4 Series Convertible will debut in Los Angeles on November 22.
