Toray Membranes Europe has introduced a new series of low fouling elements in the TML20D range.
Compared to the existing TML20 series which the company says has already proved to be very reliable, the standard salt rejection of the new series has been improved from 99.7% to 99.8% while providing higher flows at the same time. Furthermore, the cleaning pH range has been extended to 1-13 providing improved tolerance especially at high pH values for a more extensive cleaning efficiency of organic and bio-fouling.
Toray Membrane adds that the new TML20D series has been through an extensive piloting phase and has shown good stability for low fouling wastewater treatment applications. Projections with the TML20D are already available with the DS2 design software. Toray Membrane Eu is now supplying the TML20D series to customers in Europe, Africa and in the Middle-East.
