Plenty ct deliveries continued over the festive period with a beaching tide falling firmly over the holiday/New Year period. The number of new market deals concluded though was minimal with many owners prepared to wait until after the holidays before doing business.
There is though the sense that the market is improving as some of the bigger buyers return to the table to fill their plots after a period on the sidelines.
The preferred tonnage is usually on the larger side although Bangladeshi buyers have been known to take containers and smaller vessels for specific cash strapped yards.
