NuvoLase has obtained CE mark approval for its PinPointe FootLaser device, designed for treating nail fungus infection.
The approval will allow the company to market the device and continue to serve its customers throughout the European Union.
NuvoLase president and chief executive officer Steven Duddy said the company has been working consistently to uphold the promises it made to its shareholders and customers.
"We are determined to continue to bring the PinPointe FootLaser to as many patients as possible, and naturally it is critical for us to obtain the approvals of every country where this technology can benefit patients," Duddy added.
"We're pleased to add the European Union to that rapidly-growing list."
The company has also received ISO 13485 certification for its quality management system and Health Canada license from for its PinPointe FootLaser.
