It’s reported that Baosteel Stainless, one of the major stainless steel producers in China announced to raise its export prices for austenitic stainless steel coils by US$50/ton in order to reflect higher stainless steel prices in the Chinese domestic market.
After the adjustment, the company’s export prices for 304 grade hot rolled coils with thickness of 3mm and cold rolled coils with thickness of 2mm are at US$2,200/ton FOB and US$2,400/ton FOB respectively, for the loading until early October.
The official of Baosteel Stainless said that the company expected to receive more orders this month and its received order volumes were strong last month when stainless steel prices rebounded in the Chines domestic market.
Besides, Baosteel Stainless also hiked its export prices for ferritic coils by US$10~US$20/ton.
