It’s reported that the Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau posted a net profit of BRL401 million for the second quarter of this year, jumping by 150.6% from a quarter but falling by 27% year on year.
In the second quarter of this year, Gerdau realized sales of BRL9.88 billion, rising by 6.4% from a quarter.
Besides, Gerdau’s shipments totaled 4.63 million tons in the second quarter of this year, up by 17% year on year.
