Recent graduates of the PIABC Diploma in Packaging Technology and newly-accredited packaging professionals are set to receive their diplomas in a ceremony at the Total show tomorrow
More than 100 packaging practitioners have recently graduated with a PIABC Diploma qualification in Packaging Technology or gained recognition as an Accredited Packaging Professional through the Packaging Society.
A number of the graduates will be presented with their diplomas at a ceremony at 2pm tomorrow (4 June) at the Pakex Innovation Hub at the Total Processing and Packaging Exhibition.
Packaging News brand director Josh Brooks will present the certificates to graduates.
Those graduating with a diploma will be distinguished by being able to use the PIABC post nominal DipPkgTech.
Those who have been awarded Accredited Packaging Professional status are also recognised as full professional members of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and may use the designatory letters MIMMM.
The Packaging Society is grateful to the following organisations and companies who are supporting the graduation ceremony event: the World Packaging Organisation, Markem Imaje and Plastique.
