Amica Mutual Insurance, a writer of automobile, homeowners, marine, and liability insurance, has selected Ultimate Software’s UltiPro solution to streamline its processes for human capital management (HCM).
UltiPro solution replaces Amica's current ERP system, which required extensive maintenance, while lacking configurability.
Amica Mutual Insurance HRIS director Richard Bouthillette said that the UltiPro suits the company's plans of having an easy-to-use, easy-to-manage HCM solution, and one that requires less or no internal maintenance.
"We are looking forward to spending far less time on upgrades and much more time on our people management processes," Bouthillette added.
With UltiPro solution, Amica will be able to take advantage of the latest HR, payroll, benefits, and talent features without the support of internal IT resources.
The solution will also provide Amica additional business benefits like improved efficiency; built-in capabilities for disaster recovery and business continuity; 24-7 direct access for administrators, managers, executives, and employees; and fast deployment of new UltiPro functionality.
Based in Lincoln, Amica is the oldest mutual insurer of automobiles in the US, with more than 3,200 people in 40 offices across the country.
