Yorkshire Provender Selects Robinson Packaging for Porridge Range

Soup company Yorkshire Provender has selected Robinson Packaging to re-introduce its porridge range.

Yorkshire selected Robinson’s standard 365ml tamper evident pot and lid moulded in clear PP to use in the food to go and meal deal sections of retailers.

The soup company has introduced gluten-free and low fat porridge range with no refined sugar in February this year with three varieties.

The trio, honey, dairy free with cranberries and pumpkin seeds and apple, honey and cinnamon are available in the market from Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.

In February, 2017 Yorkshire Provender was sold to US based food and drink manufacturer Hain Daniels for an undisclosed sum.

Recently, Robinson introduced two new bowls designed and manufactured for Asda’s healthy chilled ready meal range. The bowls were made with Custom injection moulded in ultra-clear PP, with laser engraved branding on the lids.

The sleek bowl design allows consumers to eat directly from the pack.

Robinson is specialised in the design and manufacture of consumer led packaging using injection moulding, blow moulding and injection stretch blow moulding.

It is a global supplier of moulded plastic and rigid paperboard packaging. In the moulded plastic section they manufacture packaging materials for food & drink, personal care and homecare sectors.

The paperbox division specializes in rigid paperboard packaging in sectors such as confectionery, toiletries & cosmetics, and mobile phones.

The packaging company converts a range of materials including PP, LLDPE, HDPE PET and its downstream capabilities include printing, labelling, multi-port assembly and wadding.
