The price of LED light bulbs continued to drop steadily in September, according to LEDinside. The LED replacement for the traditional 40W incandescent light bulb saw average price drop below US$50/K-lm to US$49.7/K-lm, while the price of LED replacement for the traditional 60W standard bulbs reached US$52.3/K-lm. The price of LED light bulbs in September declined 3% on-month, LEDinside said. Japan and South Korea saw a 2% and 6% price decrease, respecitvely, in the segment meant to replace traditional 40W bulbs.
