UK-based Charpak has unveiled its latest patented packaging innovation, Twist-Loc.
Twist-Loc is a unique combination of an rPET Dome with a specially designed and cut Cakeboard which locks in to the dome.
The new packaging allows the customer to achieve packaging reduction, whilst showing off the product.
The patented packaging necessity would be eliminated for tamper evidence with the addition of a Watchstrap style band
According to the company, the new packaging design with a lid and base Domes for premium cakes takes it ahead without affecting the shelf life of the standard packaging.
