This Friday and Saturday Marks The Date for The Alternative Building Expo's 9th Year

This Friday and Saturday(May 11-12,2012)marks the date for the Alternative Building Expo's 9th year.Build Expo is considered the largest and most-respected green building and design expo in Southern California,drawing people from all trades including:architects,builders,contractors,engineers,designers and landscapers,also including a large consumer audience.And Friday and Saturday's programming are great days for the public to get involved,with over 150 exhibitors(including Lightopia,come check us out),DIY project based workshops and educational seminars.

This annual building anddesign expo is presented by the City of Santa Monica and co-presented by U.S.Green Building Council-Los Angeles and will feature companies and exhibitors from green building and design materials;energy efficiency techniques and technologies;alternative energy;water efficiency and management;environmental plumbing;municipal and state agencies;and non-profit organizations.Also included in this year's events are a curated section of artisan materials and manufacturers.

This year's enhanced programming is presented by:
