The 14th China Jiangsu Clothing & Accessories Fair has commenced at Changshu, a county-level city in the Jiangsu province of China.
At the venue, a conference reflecting the trends for the autumn-winter season of 2013 is also organized by the Changshu administration along with the China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC) and China’s National Garment Association.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Changhshu’s Vice Governor Shi Heping said the fair gives an opportunity to come up with innovative ideas and technology in the textile and garment industry of Changshu.
Mr. Heping said the four-day Changshu fair will help the region’s textile and garment industry, which is currently in a developing stage and it requires better and modern industrial equipments.
The Changshu Clothing & Accessories Fair, being organized since 2000, acts as a platform to showcase the progress achieved by the textile and garment industry of Jiangsu and other regions of China.
