US-based chocolatier Lindt and Sprungli has launched Lindt Mocha Coconut,a new limited edition dark chocolate bar,in collaboration with the Culinary Institute of America.
The Lindt Mocha Coconut bar was selected as the winner of The Lindt Excellence Recipe Challenge,a student scholarship competition in conjunction with The Culinary Institute of America(CIA),challenging CIA students to develop a dark chocolate bar recipe.
The new Lindt Mocha Coconut dark chocolate bar features coffee,coconut flakes and Lindt Excellence bittersweet chocolate.
The new bar will be available for a retail price of$3.85 and will be available at selected Lindt Chocolate Shops.Lindt is planning to donate$1 to the Culinary Institute of America for every Lindt Mocha Coconut bar purchased.
Lindt and Sprungli offers chocolate products across 125 countries and operates eight production facilities in Europe and the US employing 7,700 members worldwide.
The Culinary Institute of America is an independent,not-for-profit college offering associate and bachelor's degrees in culinary arts and baking and pastry arts as well as certificate programs in culinary arts,Latin cuisines,and wine and beverage studies.
