Weinig Will Extend Its Product Range

Weinig will extend its product range, which is primarily aligned to machinery and lines for the processing of solid-wood, by an own double-end tenoner. The relevant basic decision had already been made in 2010. Development and design were subsequently assigned to GreCon Dimter Holzoptimierung, a company which within the Weinig Group is oriented to the end-processing product sector and therefore primarily to finger-jointing lines. Production and sales of double-end tenoners will also be run through the latter company in future. Weinig reports that the development of the basic machine has now been largely concluded. Parallel to that, since October, first contacts to potential buyers have also been made. The double-end-tenoner concept was also publicly presented for the first time at the in-house fair "InTech" which was held at Weinig headquarters in Tauberbischofsheim from 7 to 9 November 2012.
