Lumerica Brightens Future
Lumerica Corporation, the provider of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions, today announced that it has acquired LumaSmart Technology International’s LED lighting business.
Lumerica’s product offerings will be significantly enhanced by LumaSmart’s environmentally-friendly lighting fixtures which are designed to consume less energy, provide a higher quality of light and last longer than competitive products. LumaSmart has primarily focused on the automotive, commercial, defense, industrial and transportation markets.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. LumaSmart, with a significant base of contract manufacturing customers, will remain a key supplier to Lumerica.
