API Unveils New Label Designs at Labelexpo Event

API is set to introduce new custom-designed labels at this year’s Labelexpo Europe event in Belgium.

The event is being held from 25 to 28 September in Brussels.

At the event, the company will also showcase latest foils for the customers.

The new series of custom-made label designs features advanced-edge foil and print techniques in combination with the heritage of names from API’s history.

According to API, the company names steeped in foil industry experience, including Henry Leigh Slaters, Astor and George M Wiley, have all been reimagined in the label designs and highlighted foil’s relevance across a range of label stocks and end-use applications.

Arden Engraving, along with API, is showcasing latest die technology that can be used across a variety of label presses.

The company is showcasing brass rotary foil die for the Gallus EM280 at the event.

API creative development manager David Peters said: “We’ve pulled out all the stops for our stand this year, and look forward to seeing many people sampling our products and fun extras.

“As if all that wasn’t enough, we’re also holding a happy hour at 3pm, when any visitors to Labelexpo can take a break from what they’re doing and join us for a complimentary refreshment and learn more about the latest packaging trends.”

Earlier this year, API unveiled new Trends Folio, which serves as a source of inspiration for packaging designers, agencies and brand owners.

Curated by API creative development manager David Peters, the Trends Folio has been developed to act as a working document for creatives.
