As part of its support to the Council of Representatives (CoR), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with support from the Inter-Agency Information and Analysis Unit (IAU), conducted a workshop on survey questionnaire design for 24 researchers from the CoR Research Directorate. The training was held at the Council of Representatives in Baghdad on 23 – 27 December 2012.
The course aimed to build the knowledge and core capacity of the researchers to design a survey questionnaire that effectively addresses information gaps and lays a foundation for the promotion of evidence-based decision making. This will allow the Research Directorate to gather primary data that it can rely on when preparing reports and situation papers.
