US-based flexible packaging manufacturer Admiral Packaging has expanded its product portfolio with the addition of a new 24” Hi-Speed Quad Seal/Dual Stand up pouch machine made by Modern Manufacturing Services.
With the addition of new equipment, the company's service offerings now include two-up stand up processing, two-up stand up with zipper processing, quad seal pouches and side gusset pouches.
According to the company, the new equipment has increased its processing capabilities, according to packagingeurope.com.
Admiral Packaging president Harley Frank said the new equipment enable company to increase capacity while producing a variety of pouches.
"It has also allowed us to increase our processing capability which is in line with the "Lean" methods that we practice at Admiral Packaging," added Frank.
The company said that it has already invested over $10m over the past few years in equipment for providing customers with fast turnaround and better quality.
