BORA Is Adding Four New Products

BORA, a product division of Affinity Tool Works, is adding four new products to its existing line of measuring and marking tools. The new hand tools, which will be available this December, are designed with exclusive features not found on similar products, and further enhance the BORA line and breadth of product. Professional-grade, yet easy to use at any skill level, these tools appeal to variety of users including builders, remodelers, carpenters, woodworkers and do-it-yourselfers. The new Combination Square is ideal for joint layout, machine setup/checking, and level/plumb determination, and can also be used as a height, depth or marking gauge. Unique to the BORA square, a smooth-sliding head and patented adjustable magnetic locking system ensure fast, precise alignment for greater efficiency and ease of use. A hardened scriber and level are included. The square features a stainless-steel 12-inch reversible ruler with easy-to-read graduations in both 1/16- and 1/32-inch increments, and a corrosion-resistant cast-zinc body for years of reliable accuracy. Available in two sizes, 8-in. and 12-in., the Try Square is ideal for ensuring precision angles, as well as squareness and flatness. These certified 90-degree squares are also extremely valuable for layout tasks, as well as in the setup of shop power tools including jointers, table saws, and other machines relied on to ensure precision cuts. Unlike similar try squares that only measure 90-degrees, the BORA squares feature four molded angle guides: 22.5-, 45-, 67.5- and 90-degrees. To prevent pivoting or shifting, the tool features a stability ledge, allowing the ruler to be kept flat to the work piece for easy, accurate measuring. Constructed of durable polyethylene and featuring a stainless-steel ruler with 1/16-inch and 1/32-inch etched graduations, the squares are built to handle jobsite abuse, yet still ensure precise angles every time. BORA’s Adjustable Sliding T-bevel is ideal for measuring and copying precise angles for both cabinet making and carpentry. The blade can be set from any angle from 0- to 180-degrees for applications such as laying out dovetails, framing cuts and marking uncommon angles. It includes a unique cylindrical vial for rough layout and leveling, and an easy-to-use thumbscrew for fast, secure locking. The T-bevel features a heavy-duty molded plastic body with a built-in guide for setting 3/16-inch trim reveals, a stainless-steel blade and permanently etched 1/16-inch graduations. Additionally, the BORA T-bevel includes precise, molded angles on the tool’s body for enhanced versatility and use. In addition to measuring and marking tools, BORA offers a complete line of hand tools for professionals and do-it-yourselfers including levels, pistol grip clamps and the signature Clamp Edge straight edge guides. All BORA tools are backed by the company’s lifetime warranty. Source: woodworkingnetwork.com
