Royston Labels Has Developed a New Label Material Technology That Enables Printed Labels

UK-based Royston Labels has developed a new label material technology that enables printed labels to feel soft and silky to the touch.

The new soft-touch technology can be used to improve any label design and can be combined with clear or solid base materials, as well as an array of printing techniques.

Royston Labels claims soft-touch can also be applied with low impact on the overall thickness of the label.

The company also has a metallic variant and a modern black in its soft-touch range.

Stephanie Rogers of Royston Labels said because of the contrasting textures soft-touch labels are good when used on glass bottles.

"All three materials will deliver innovative and unusual packaging decoration, and are particularly suited to the personal care and drinks industries," Rogers added.
