British manufacturer of super-luxury motor cars, Rolls-Royce is planning to unveil its new Ghost-based Wraith coupe at the upcoming 2013 Geneva Motor Show to be held during March in Switzerland.
Claimed to be the carmaker's most powerful model ever, the new coupe is expected to be powered by 6.6L twin-turbo V12 engine, which is tuned to generate an output of 600hp and 800Nm torque.
The engine is expected to be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, probably with paddle shifters for manual operation, which will allow the coupe to sprint from 0-100kmph in about five seconds.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös said: "Expect the boldest design, the most dramatic performance and the most powerful Rolls-Royce that has ever played host to the famous Spirit of Ecstasy figurine."
According to Rolls-Royce, the new two-door coupe will have a length of about 5200mm, with a wheelbase about 180mm shorter over the four-door Ghost.
The new Rolls-Royce Wraith is expected to go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2013.
Rolls-Royce had ended the production of its Silver Wraith in 1959, and the new model will revive Wraith in its line up, with covertible version expected to be added.
