A New Recyclable Packaging System Lamican for Liquids Was Developed by Lamican

Liquid packaging filling systems producer Lamican has developed a new recyclable packaging system LamiCan for liquids.

The new aseptic paperboard package LamiCan 250ml is said to be suitable for all types of ambient distribution and offers shelf life of up to one year without the need for costly product refrigeration or preservatives.

According to the Finland-based company, the product is suitable for a range of products including dairy, tea, sports, wellness, wine, smoothie, nectar and juice based drinks.

The company produces the Lamican LAC-250 filling machine and LamiCan 250ml packaging material at its plant and development site in Valkeakoski, Finland.

LamiCan, which has printing feature around the full circumference of its body, improves product appeal by aseptically packaging the liquids in a paperboard can.

The company has established a co-packing facility with Finnish co-packer Bullberry in order to help beverage brand owners to develop and test market new or existing brands in LamiCan.
