Durst, a manufacturer of advanced digital production technologies, will display its latest digital, high-resolution and high-speed UV inkjet single pass printing press – 8 color label press Tau 330 RSC inline with OMET’s Xflex X6 hybrid solution, and the new Web2Print workflow, at the Labelexpo 2017 to be held in Brussels from September 25 to 28, 2017.
The Tau 330 RSC label and package printing press features a print width of 330 mm and offers print speed of up to 78 linear meters per minute at resolutions of 1200x1200 dpi.
With the 8 color stations (CMYK+W+OVG) and high pigmented inks, the new Tau 330 RSC delivers exceptional print quality that matches flexo look-like print quality.
The new Tau 330 RSC is available as a standalone version. Alternatively, it can be combined with inline digital laser die cutting LFS 330.
The company will display the new Tau 330 RSC as a ‘hybrid press’ configured with OMET’s Xflex series of conventional finishing options, at Labelexpo.
The company will also display the flagship Tau 330 with low migration ink for primary food and pharma packaging, and the economic entry model Tau 330E with specially developed high pigmented UV inkjet inks. The press will be exhibited as a complete solution with the EFS 330 – SMAG’s economic converting and finishing system.
Along with the Tau 330 series, Durst will also exhibit the Web2Print solution for online design, preview and ordering of packaging products such as labels and folding carton.
The company’s own Workflow-Label Application Suite will also be on display. The modular, expandable prepress software caters to order entry, pre-press, RIP, color management, ink-costing and production data management.
