ExxonMobil, along with Jinming Machinery, is set to unveil new Exceed XP polymer five-layer stand-up pouch packaging at K2016 event in Germany.
The new five-layer polyolefin dedicated (POD) stand-up pouch packaging film will be showcased at the event in Dusseldorf, which will be held from 19 to 26 October.
The new packaging film is formulated with Exceed XP polymer, which enables converters to produce damage resistant film.
It can be used to protect and preserve food products with high integrity packaging from production to consumption.
The polymers are said to deliver films with enhanced toughness, high dart impact, aged property retention, and sealability, including low seal initiation temperature.
Exceed XP’s melt strength and toughness properties enable to produce thin films that can reduce material use and maintain package integrity.
Superex blown film extrusion machine technology is equipped Smartex platform to focus on intelligent manufacturing systems.
It helps to produce film with automatic operation, multi-device networking and remote film diagnosis.
ExxonMobil Chemical film application senior engineer David Zhu said: “Having worked with Jinming for a number of years helping to provide high-quality film polymers, this latest collaboration has resulted in them becoming one of the first OEMs in the Asia Pacific region to offer a reliable, affordable step-in 5-layer film solution.”
Jinming general manager Mars Ma said: “The success of the collaboration is demonstrated by the fact that we have broadened our markets into international regions beyond Asia Pacific.”
