Global provider of corrosion control technologies Cortec has unveiled its newly reformulated Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film, which provides a corrosion protection solution for primary packaging and unitization.
Produced by the company and its European subsidiary, EcoCortec the stretch wrap offers both vapor phase and contact protection to carbon and galvanized steels, aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, and other metals.
The fully recyclable film delivers added puncture resistance and load holding and allows users to down-gauge while still containing aggressive loads and producing a better package at reduced costs.
According to the US-based company, the product gives improved handling stability when forming a unit load while also providing tamper resistance, and dust as well as moisture protection.
Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film, which is made from a blend of polyethylene resins and VpCI technology, helps to do away with the need for rust inhibiting oils.
The environmentally-friendly film is FDA-approved for use on food handling equipment.
