C.L.A.A.S. Will Introduce Its Latest Creations to Fashion Brands and Designers

Italian manufacturer of sustainable textile fabrics – C.L.A.A.S. will introduce its latest creations to fashion brands and designers for the A/W 2015 season.

In the new season, C.L.A.A.S. will be joined by its new partner - Tessile e Salute, an organization dedicated to a better awareness for healthier material standards in fashion.

After a year of exhibitions, panel and round table discussions and more, C.L.A.S.S. begins its global Autumn/Winter 2015 tour to encourage and inspire through responsible creation and innovation.

In the last few months, C.L.A.S.S. marked its presence at major fashion fairs and shows like Copenhagen Fashion Summit.

The fashion fabric brand also had a fruitful partnership with Premiere Vision. C.L.A.S.S. was active at Premiere Vision Paris, Shanghai and New York with booths, talks and panel discussions.

Last February in Paris, Laura Lusuardi - fashion coordinator at Max Mara Group, shared their commitment to sustainable fashion for their ‘Week End by Max Mara Line’ designed by using Newlife.

At Premiere Vision New York in July, C.L.A.S.S. CEO Giusy Bettoni participated in a debate which included representatives from Eileen Fisher, Gucci, Coca-Cola, and the CFDA sustainability committee.

Although speakers came from different backgrounds and horizons, all agreed that sustainability has to have its roots in creativity and innovation from conception to materiality, production and communication.

Gucci, one of the world's leading luxury brands and particularly sensitive to a sustainable and responsible approach to its business – used fabrics from C.L.A.S.S. and its partner Re.Verso which supplied eco-friendly cashmere fabrics for their A/W 15 collections.

Re.Verso is a new manufacturing business that is 100% fully traceable and reprocesses and redesigns its customer’s pre-consumer waste materials - mainly wool, into high quality fashion products.

C.L.A.S.S. moves on to its new world tour of fashion shows and fairs taking along these partnerships and will show exclusive innovative materials made with the smartest sustainable technologies.

This tour starts in September in Milan where C.L.A.S.S. will open its headquarter doors from September 9 to 12; then in Copenhagen on September 22 & 23 after which London is on the agenda on September 25, with many such tours to follow.

C.L.A.S.S. will showcase two distinctive trends for A/W 15-16 at these shows. ‘Unexpected Fluidity’, is a range of reds, burgundies and brown tones in satined and polished fabrications for jerseys, prints and plains alike.

While ‘Descriptive Nature’ is made up of stormy greys and soft blues which reminds of winter skies with tactile textural fabrics rooted in traditions, now reworked with new materials in checked and irregular sets and blends with wools, cottons and techno silks. (AR)
