It’s reported that Taiwan’s China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan released its price policy for September.
CSC decided to remain list prices for all its products unchanged for September deliveries due to slow demand in summer.
After the announcement, its list price for SPHC hot rolled coil is at NT$19,393/ton; that for SPCC cold rolled coil is at NT$22,668/ton.
CSC stated that the global steelmakers have hiked prices due to higher scrap and iron ore prices.
Besides, the balance between supply and demand in steel market has improved due to lower stocks.
Meanwhile, CSC expected that the steel prices will continue well-supported after July-September.
