EyeC said it will showcase its fastest inspection technology for labels and flexible packaging at the upcoming Labelexpo Europe 2017, to be held in September at Brussels, Belgium.
The new inspection system, EyeC ProofRunner Label, can inspect any type of labels including transparent or metalized labels.
When installed on a printing press or on a rewinder, the system monitors the quality of the total print job, checks it against the customer proof, and alerts the operator about the defects.
It has the capacity to offer 100% print inspection, even on the fastest presses or rewinders on the market, running at speeds more than 600 meters per minute (2000 fpm).
The new inspection systems of EyeC support the most modern processes and ensure the print quality across the entire production process.
The EyeC Quality Link allows the inspection results from the press to be assessed at a separate station and used later on the rewinder to remove all defective labels.
The EyeC Workflow integration can automate PDF proofing in the pre-press stage process by incorporating its pre-press inspection software, the EyeC Proofiler Graphic into the workflow systems like Esko’s Automation Engine.
The workflow system can trigger inspection procedures automatically and the EyeC Proofiler Graphic retrieves job data, files and inspection parameters from the workflow system and the workflow system will receive reports back from the Proofiler Graphic.
