Dos Pinos Launches Products in Americas in Tetra Brik Aseptic Slim Leaf Packaging

Costa Rican dairy company Dos Pinos has launched its products in the Americas in Tetra Brik Aseptic 200 Slim Leaf packaging.

Featuring leaf shaped panels to highlight messages and increase design possibilities, the new package is said to offer better shelf appeal for the product.

Dos Pinos CEO Gonzalo Chaves said: “We are pleased be the first to bring this new package for our dairy, nectars and oatmeal brands in the region.

“Consumers are looking for new experiences, novelty and fun in everyday products, and we are glad to be able to respond to their needs quickly by making this innovative switch.”

Tetra Pak said it has already launched the package to customers in Japan, Saudi Arabia and Russia.

The recyclable containers also feature a centralized straw hole allowing consumers to easily hold and control the package when drinking. It is made of paper from certified renewable sources.

Chaves added: "For several years, Dos Pinos and Tetra Pak have been working hand in hand to promote recycling in Costa Rica.”

In June, Tetra Pak said it has joined RE100, a collaborative initiative of major businesses committed using 100% renewable electricity for operations by 2030.

RE100 is led by the Climate Group in partnership with CDP to drive demand for, and delivery of, renewable power.
